What do we offer?
Fulltime internship positions at our venture capital fund SHIFT Invest. SHIFT Invest is one of the few 'impact investing' venture capital funds in the Netherlands focusing on innovations that will bring positive change to the following sectors: food & agriculture, green industries, circular economy, energy transition and sustainable mobility & logistics. As an intern you will get in touch with innovative startups and determined entrepreneurs aiming to bring their groundbreaking innovations to the market. You support a team of eight investment professionals in their daily practices related to investing, managing and exiting early stage companies. Work activities include scrutinizing business plans, conducting market analysis and defining potential impact of these start-ups on our ecological system, health or infrastructure. At NBI Investors our interns play an integral part within our core activities. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend incubators, start-up events and industry related conferences.

New Balance Impact Investors is an independent fund manager that responsible for two managing two funds: Mainport Innovation Fund (MIF) and Shift Invest.
MIF invests in start-ups with meaningful innovation in the aviation, transport and logistics sectors. We do this actively together with our investment partners: KLM, Schiphol, NS (Dutch railways), Port of Amsterdam and Delft University of Technology.
