At IMPROVEN, you will work as a Project Management Consultant with organisations focused on growth and improvement. You will connect people, processes and results, be a sparring partner for project leaders and management from day one, and gain the confidence to make projects and change processes really better. You will see your impact directly reflected in predictable execution, better decision-making and more stable project management.

Do you get energy from projects that want to move forward?

Do you enjoy bringing structure, strengthening collaboration and helping organisations really take project-based working to the next level?

What do you do as a Consultant Projectmanagement at IMPROVEN?

In this role, you work at the interface of project implementation, process improvement and change. You ensure that initiatives do not get stuck in plans, but develop into structured processes with clear progress and support. You help organisations professionalise their project management, support project leaders with overview and rhythm, and facilitate clear decision-making and communication. You work intensively with teams and stakeholders and bring structure, insight and movement, not from a technical perspective, but from a process and organisational perspective.

You are the connecting force that ensures change really lands. You operate in an environment where project management is taken seriously, with room to make working methods smarter and more consistent. That is exactly where your playing field lies: making projects succeed by combining structure, collaboration and predictable execution.

Some of your duties

  • Support and (partially) manage projects within operations, IT and change
  • Establish and monitor project schedules, risks, dependencies and progress
  • Facilitate project meetings, decision-making and reporting
  • Structure project communication, stakeholder management and expectations
  • Help professionalise project-based working within organisations
  • Set up or improve project processes, templates and working methods
  • Include stakeholders and reduce resistance during change
  • Contribute to propositions, internal development and knowledge sharing within IMPROVEN

This is where you recognise yourself

  • You are looking for a role in which you combine substantive challenge, autonomy and visible impact.
  • You have 3 years' experience as a project consultant, PMO or project officer within projects in, for example, operations, IT, finance or the public domain.
  • You want to leave organisations better than you found them: more structured, professional and with stronger project management.
  • You can analyse complex situations and translate them into clear choices, actions and priorities.
  • You have a HBO/WO background, for example in business administration, public administration, project management, business computer science or similar.
  • You understand both the process and the organisational side of change and project implementation.
  • You communicate clearly, manage expectations well and interact easily with different stakeholders and teams.
  • You enjoy working in a consultancy environment in which responsibility, ownership, cooperation and quality are central.

This is what else you are looking for in a job

  • A content-rich and versatile role in which you will have visible impact on projects and professionalise project-based working.
  • A culture in which professional space, trust and development are central.
  • A regular employment with flexibility in hours and workplace.
  • 28 holidays for full-time employment.
  • Hybrid working: at the customer, in the office and at home.
  • Regular IMPROVEN benefits, including laptop, phone, pension and events, plus a structural focus on knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • An active IMPROVEN community with sports activities, social events and knowledge sharing.
  • A professional culture in which quality is leading, entrepreneurship is encouraged and responsibility is trusted.
  • The opportunity to explore which form of contract best suits you.
