What will you do as a Consultant Data & AI at IMPROVEN?

As Consultant Data & AI at IMPROVEN, you work in the preliminary phase of data and AI issues: exactly where vision, strategy, governance and organisation come together. You will help clients deploy data responsibly and effectively, so that strategic ambitions are actually realised. You advise on data strategy and data governance, support decision-making and create coherence between policy, organisation and information provision. In this way, you ensure better decision-making, clear ownership and data that is actually used. You work closely with data analysts, BI specialists and other experts, but your strength lies in consultancy, analysis and advice, not in building code.

With your ability to reduce complex data and AI issues to their essence, you make them understandable and applicable for different target groups. In doing so, you help organisations take concrete steps towards data-driven work and realise sustainable improvements.

Some of your duties

• Advising clients on data strategy, data governance and AI ambitions focused on concrete business goals
• Drafting and guiding data and AI roadmaps that align with organisational goals
• Translating policy and strategy into concrete frameworks, principles and decision-making
• Structuring governance (roles, responsibilities, definitions, data quality)
• Making Data & AI issues understandable and applicable to board and management
• Engaging stakeholders, reducing resistance and making change work
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI specialists and IT teams to connect strategy and execution
• Contribute to the development of propositions and knowledge sharing within IMPROVEN

• You are driven, quality-oriented and eager to go the extra mile to make an impact
• You analyse sharply and translate data into concrete insights and substantiated recommendations
• You have 3-8 years' experience as a consultant in terms of data governance, data quality and/or data strategy
• You enjoy working together and actively contribute to team results and knowledge sharing
• You have thorough knowledge of data management principles such as data ownership, definitions, lineage and data quality
• You are familiar with relevant laws and regulations around data (privacy, security, compliance)
• You take ownership and feel responsible for the whole process: from strategy to insight
• You have experience within a consultancy organisation and enjoy combining client assignments with building IMPROVEN
• You communicate clearly and interact easily with different stakeholders
• You combine knowledge of AI and Data with a good sense of business and context
• You have relevant certifications, such as DAMA-DMBOK/CDMP, or technical certifications (preferred)
• You may build and maintain dashboards and reports driving KPIs and decision-making

Your team

Within IMPROVEN, you will join our new professional group Data & AI. A team under construction in which there is plenty of room to help build. This department focuses on impact with data and AI.
