IMPACT Traineeship at Van Oord

As an IMPACT Trainee, you’ll be part of a group of 24 individuals on an 18-month journey designed to help you grow in a high-performing organization. The program combines specialized department focus, mandatory project rotations, and professional development, all guided by our core values: create, care, work together, and succeed.

Throughout the program, you’ll:

• Gain hands-on experience during three working periods, contributing to impactful projects that reflect the global scope of our business.
• Participate in office periods alongside fellow trainees, engaging in workshops, masterclasses, and reflective sessions focused on personal development, agility, and growth.
• Immerse yourself in an international environment, collaborating with colleagues from diverse cultures and contributing to projects spanning countries and continents.

About you

We’re looking for passionate, driven, and curious individuals who are eager to grow in a high-performing, global organization. You’ll thrive in the program if you:

• Have recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (within 18 months of the program start). We welcome candidates with diverse academic backgrounds and experiences.
• You have no more than two years of work experience in your field of interest.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment and are eager to contribute to impactful projects.
• Are willing to travel to project locations and experience firsthand the variety of challenges our global business offers.
• Are a proactive learner with the ability to take ownership of your development.
• Communicate effectively in English (Dutch is not required).
