As a Category Supply Planner, you have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure the supply and availability of products to fulfil deliveries on time, at the right place, and with the correct freshness, while minimizing working capital and total delivered cost.
  • Establish and periodically review stock policies for finished goods, using the right tools and processes.
  • Work closely with Demand Planners in the Benelux responsible for Food Retail to manage shared objectives, such as service level and on-time availability to capture commercial opportunities.
  • Provide the Generating Demand teams with input regarding stock availability and exceptions that may impact business performance.
  • Drive fast and appropriate actions to minimize the impact of supply risks, including shortages and excess stock, and communicate these actions to the respective stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyse demand and supply planning performance using the appropriate measures and tools.
  • Contribute to Innovation and Renovation projects through flawless planning and execution of Supply Planning tasks.

As a Category Supply Planner, you report to the Category Supply Chain Co-Pilot and are part of the Demand and Supply Planning team for the Benelux.

What are we looking for in our Category Supply Planner?

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations, ideally in FMCG.
  • Adaptable, agile, communicative, and an excellent team player, able to work autonomously and remotely, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Analytical, results-oriented, and resilient.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple activities is essential for successful performance.
  • Good knowledge of SAP R/3, APO, and Microsoft Power BI would be a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus.
