The current vacancy is with the Demography and Migration Unit, of the Societal Resilience and Security Directorate. This Unit carries out research, analysis and knowledge management in support of EU policies on demography.
The Unit is tasked to support the priorities on demography across the Commission. In order to fulfil this task, comprehensive evidence and knowledge are provided to support a wide range of policy domains such as labour markets, health and long-term care, and territorial cohesion. This work contributes to EU-wide science-policy dialogues through the Atlas of Demography.
The jobholder will conduct policy analysis, including comparison of different public policies in different countries and migration, and is responsible for the operation of the Knowledge Centre on Migration and Demography.
