The Position

As a Sustainability Intern within the Stakeholders and Sustainability department, you will support the team in bringing Van Oord’s sustainability ambitions to life. The department plays a key role in driving our sustainability strategy across four pillars: enhancing the energy transition, accelerating climate action, empowering nature and communities, and achieving net zero emissions. • Building a strategy for Van Oord’s participation in COP31, including research, briefings and opportunity identification
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to strengthen alignment and commitment to sustainability initiatives
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders to foster partnerships and increase sustainability impact
  • Preparing presentations, roadmaps and communication materials that bring our sustainability vision to life

You will join a growing and ambitious team within the Stakeholders and Sustainability department. The team works across a wide range of sustainability topics and brings together different perspectives, expertise and experiences. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. You will have the freedom to contribute your ideas and learn from colleagues across the organisation.
