This opportunity is at the JRC Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS), located in the Directorate for Innovation in Science and Policymaking.
For this role, the work will be conducted in collaboration with two units within the Directorate for Innovation in Science and Policymaking: the Foresight, Design and Behavioural Insights Unit and the Science for Modelling, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit.
This vacancy is for a three-year research project aiming to establish a robust, sovereign EU framework for generating synthetic populations (anonymised, computer-generated agents that mirror key characteristics of real-world populations) and using these populations in simulations to inform evidence-based policymaking across multiple policy domains.
