About the job

As our Finance Student Employee / Werkstudent, you'll be the backbone of our day-to-day financial operations. You'll own the full AP/AR cycle, keep our numbers up to date, and be the go-to person for everyone in the organisation when it comes to expenses, costs, and invoices. On top of that, you'll sit down monthly with the CFO to review results, building your controlling skills along the way.

Because we're a fast-growing scale-up, there's always something interesting going on. Think business cases, client cases, and financial analyses that you can genuinely add to your portfolio.

These are things you will be doing on a regular day:

• Processing and managing all incoming and outgoing invoices;

• Keeping our costs and revenue up to date in our financial administration;

• Acting as the point of contact within the organisation for expense claims, cost questions, and client invoices;

• Joining the monthly results review with the CFO and contributing to financial insights;

• Supporting ad-hoc finance projects, business cases, and client analyses.

About you

This role is perfect for you if you're looking for a part-time job that actually connects to your studies and helps you grow as a finance professional. You're structured, proactive, and not afraid to take ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Some things on our wish list:

• HBO or WO student in Finance, Accountancy, Business Economics, or a related field;

• Affinity with financial administration and a sharp eye for detail;

• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently;

• Good communication skills in English (hard requirement); strong preference for Dutch;

• Available for at least 8 to 16 hours per week, spread across at least two days — with at least one day at our office in Rotterdam centre (more is always welcome!).
