What is Welcome app?

Imagine: you are trying to build a new life in a foreign country – from scratch. Where do you start? Information is not easily accessible, you don’t speak the language yet and you don’t know how to connect with new people. Many newcomers (asylum seekers, status holders, Ukrainians) in the Netherlands face this challenge.

Welcome app makes building such a new life easier. We do this by making relevant information, activities, services and local organizations accessible in one place: the Welcome app. In this way, Welcome app supports municipalities in carrying out their tasks effectively and offers organizations a platform to reach newcomers. Our technology supports integration, participation, self-direction and equal access to opportunities.

Who are we looking for?

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in collecting, managing and analyzing data from various sources such as our platform, Power BI CRM (Hubspot), marketing channels, impact metrics and SROI assessments. You will contribute to developing dashboards, reports and analytics that drive the organization forward. You will work closely with our Go-to-Market Manager, product team and CEO and will have plenty of room to put your own stamp on this role.

What will you do?

• Mapping and managing available and required data sources (product, CRM, market, users)
• Create, maintain and improve internal data sets and dashboards
• Analyze user behavior, retention, adoption and conversion on our platform
• Support the design and delivery of impact metrics and reports for municipalities and other stakeholders
• Contribute to A/B testing, KPI tracking and experiments within product and marketing
• Support the team with ad-hoc analysis and insight-driven decision making
• Help strengthen a data-driven work environment within Welcome app

What are we looking for?

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a role focused on data, analytics or research
• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Google Analytics, Tableau or other data visualization tools
• Affinity for social issues, impact measurement or digital products
• Accuracy, independence and curiosity – you see patterns and ask questions
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex information in simple terms
• Good command of English, both written and oral, knowledge of Dutch is a plus but not necessary

Pre:

• Experience with various data analysis and visualization tools in a tech or start-up environment
• Experience developing dashboards, impact reports or working with public/open data
• Shared or lived experience with migration, integration or social inclusion is a plus

What we offer.

• Start date: preferably June 2024 (earlier or later by mutual agreement)
• Part-time or full-time position
• Salary between €2,500 and €2,900 gross per month (based on full-time, depending on experience)
