In this role, you will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites and generate service revenue for MRI systems within the Benelux area.

Your role:

  • Build credibility and trust with customers by conducting pro-active customer visits.
  • Provide appropriate, timely, and regular communications to customer and internal key stakeholders regarding customer and equipment issues.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency to identify and resolve customer issues and follow the appropriate escalation process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting clear expectations, meeting commitments and arrival times, and understanding the customer's business and competitive environment.
  • Manage company assets effectively in accordance with established Philips processes and guidelines, including labour time, parts ordering and returns, tools and test equipment calibration, purchase orders, equipment, company vehicles, and business expenditures.
  • Maintain knowledge of technical advances and current industry trends, seeking out formal and informal training opportunities.
  • Independently resolve equipment and customer issues.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Relevant educational background within medical/electrical engineering or similar.
  • Experience in technical field service, preferably within a hospital environment.
  • Understanding of and ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-discipline, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a team-driven environment to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Oral and written communication skills in English in addition to Dutch as the local language; Dutch is mandatory.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation and be available to respond onsite 24x7 as needed.
  • Home residence centrally located in the Netherlands.
  • Driving license (B).
