Internship – Energy & Water Benchmarking Model

“Improving and developing benchmarking tools to support the sustainability goals of the company gives me lots of energy and lets me enjoy my internship journey”

HEINEKEN is committed to becoming net zero carbon by 2030 (scope 1&2) and to significantly reduce its water usage. To reach these goals, detailed benchmarking for utilities (Energy & Water) usage is used and continuously enhanced. During this internship, you will work on improving the understanding of the current benchmarking tools and start the process of simplifying and improving the benchmarking models available.

The internship

In this internship you will be responsible for:

  • Continuing the calculation model for the benchmarking model in a digital format.
  • Supporting the developer as Business Owner for the digitalization of the benchmarking model.
  • Interacting with other departments (Brewing, Packaging, Engineering) and different regional stakeholders to define the future state of the benchmarking tools.
  • Improving the documentation regarding the available benchmarking models.
  • Starting the development of future versions of the benchmarking tools available.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. You will be given trust and freedom to work like a real entrepreneur, with guidance that fits your needs.
