Within Corporate Broking & Issuer Services, ABN AMRO is looking for an intern who is interested in Markets and in particular Corporate Broking & Issuer Services. The team serves publicly listed clients in North Western Europe that seek innovative and solid IT solutions. ABN AMRO offers a broad range of products and IT solutions and provides advisory services with the aim of becoming the trusted advisor to publicly listed clients. In the Netherlands, the team is market leader in issuer services and has the ambition to become market leader in neighboring countries as well by differentiating its offering with digital solutions.

You are a result oriented team player with IT knowledge who is interested to learn more about Markets in general and in particular Corporate Broking & Issuer Services. Concerning the team’s ambition to expand its digital offering to publicly listed clients, ABN AMRO is seeking an intern who can help with that.

Your job

Corporate Broking & Issuer Services is a dynamic team mainly focused on offering issuer services to publicly listed clients in North Western Europe. This includes assisting companies with their first listing on Euronext (IPO), a merger, and daily activities such as supporting Annual General Meetings, Dividend/Coupon/Redemption payments and shareholder identification.

You will assist the team with its day-to-day activities, with a key focus on the various IT tools offered to publicly listed clients. You will build the bridge between IT and the business with a result oriented client focus. You will also look at further automation of various processes.

Your working environment

The Corporate Broking & Issuer Services department is part of the market leading Equity Capital Markets team in the Benelux. There is a professional working environment with direct colleagues who are flexible and do not adhere to a strict nine to five activity.

Your profile

You are a professional with the ambition to win. You can translate client needs to requirements and vice versa. You have an IT oriented background and proven Excel, Power BI and Phyton skills.

You should be able to perform data analysis with Excel, Power BI and Phython, including data manipulation with Pandas, data cleaning and preprocessing, data visualization, creating charts, using slicers, and Power BI maps.

You have an academic work level and know a bit about financial markets. In addition, you have good communication skills and like to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The team is sometimes compared to a start-up within a bank.
