With this role you are taking ownership of different responsibilities and working closely with different stakeholders.

Detailed Production Scheduling (DPS)

  • Create a feasible and effective production plan within the DPS period, in line with market demand and the MPS plan, taking into consideration available capacity, labor, and materials, while ensuring plant efficiency and customer service level.
  • React to changes in both supply and demand and realign the plan to minimize supply risks while protecting plant performance.
  • Regularly review production cycles, lot sizes, plant capacity and utilization, and future constraints (e.g. plant shutdowns) in consultation with production.
  • Provide advanced information on labor requirements within the DPS period.
  • Identify deviations and initiate corrective actions to minimize disruptions.

Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Run and manage the MRP process within the ERP system.
  • Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and semi-finished goods.
  • Proactively identify and resolve material shortages and excess stock.
  • Coordinate with Procurement on purchase proposals, deliveries, and supplier issues.
  • Optimize inventory levels in line with service, cost, and working capital targets.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, Import/Export and Master Data teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for planning- and material-related topics within the factory.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and supply chain processes.
  • Support I2L initiatives to ensure flawless execution of new launches and changes in portfolio.
  • Carry out regular housekeeping in the system (e.g. no old orders) and ensure that all planning master data are updated regularly.
  • Contribute to key meetings and reviews as required (DOR, WOR, DPS/MPS meetings, etc.).

Your profile

For this position we are looking for a new member of the team who takes responsibility for the scope of work and likes to collaborate with stakeholders within the organisation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Solid knowledge of DPS and MRP processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic production environment.
  • Speak English and feel comfortable working with international teams.
  • Well organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving data-related problems.

What can you expect from us:
