NN is developing exceptional digital products and is hiring for the IT domain of NN Customer and Digital.

In this role, you will lead and hire engineers for several DevOps teams that are transitioning to a modern technology stack. NN is committed to building empowered product teams that take ownership of customer problems from start to finish. We embrace the mantra: “You plan it, you build it, you ship it, you run it.” Your success will be measured by your ability to build teams that exemplify this philosophy and deliver business value while achieving high scores on acceleration metrics and customer satisfaction.

What you are going to do

  • Hiring and retaining engineering talent: You will hire competent individuals who are enjoyable to work with. You will create a safe environment, coaching and mentoring engineers to help them grow into larger roles and new opportunities
  • Removing impediments: You will ensure that team members have everything they need, identifying and solving any impediments they encounter
  • Evangelizing the empowered-product team vision: You will help promote the transformation into a tech company that builds great digital products and fosters empowered teams that take ownership
  • Guiding teams towards modern engineering standards and practices: You will prioritize AI-spec-driven development and guide engineers in automating processes, addressing technical debt, and moving away from legacy systems
  • Staying Technical: Engineering management differs from general management. It’s important for you to remain technically engaged. You can achieve this through self-study, attending conferences, coding with the team, hosting technical sessions, or any other method you find effective

What we offer you

It is important to us that you continue to develop yourself. We offer you the space and confidence to grow both in your career and as an individual. We support you with:

  • The autonomy to chart your own development path
  • A modern pension administered by BeFrank
  • Allowances for setting up your home office and for internet use

Who you are

You are experienced in working in an Agile environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are foundational. Additionally, you possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in computer science or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • 3+ years of experience as a mentor and/or engineering manager
  • Experience in coaching soft skills
  • A relentless drive to help people grow and provide new opportunities for learning

Who you will work with

You will be part of a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where innovation, collaboration, and agility are crucial.
