As a Compliance Officer at xxllnc, you are an approachable anchor and a supportive partner for our teams. You will be the face of the compliance team, helping colleagues stay 'in control' in a way that makes their work easier and more secure.

We are currently in an exciting phase of international growth and a transition toward greater first-line ownership within our teams. You will play a key role in this evolution by creating awareness and translating complex compliance goals into practical, workable solutions that are scalable across Europe.

Your responsibilities include:

• You are the project manager coördinating our internal and external audits. You guide the process with a warm, structured approach, ensuring everyone knows exactly what is expected;
• You perform internal security and compliance control evaluations for several of our applications.
• You are a highly visible point of contact who advises and motivates, but you aren't afraid to be firm and factual when boundaries need to be guarded;
• You support our European expansion by harmonizing compliance practices across borders and helping international teams integrate smoothly;
• You contribute to the evolution of our control framework, simplifying and optimizing internal control processes to keep our ecosystem agile;
• You assist team leads in translating central compliance frameworks into practical operating procedures that fit their daily reality;
• You work side-by-side with junior colleagues and the Head of Compliance to take the quality of our GovTech ecosystem to the next level.

Over jou

You are a communicative and proactive personality who brings calm and structure to a dynamic environment. You can switch quickly between different contexts and make complex matters understandable and accessible to everyone.

Furthermore, you possess:

• A university-level way of thinking and working; you grasp complex issues quickly and can turn them into logical, practical plans;
• Approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in a coordinating or project-based role;
• A strong balance of empathy and firmness: you build relationships easily, but you stand your ground when compliance requirements are at stake;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (essential for our international collaboration);
• A pragmatic and creative mindset: you love a clear roadmap, but you are always focused on results and practical usability.

Do you already have an affinity for SaaS, information security, ISO-frameworks or GRC tools? That’s a plus, but we value your personality and drive even more.
