As Domain Architect you are in the centre of the transformation. Your goal is to translate the overall strategy into action and help to shape the digital & technology portfolios within Commerce and the crossroads towards Supply Chain and Finance.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Own the architecture strategy for Commerce ensuring strong alignment with functional and D&T strategic plans.
  • Develop blueprints, reference & transition architectures with clear architectural principles, patterns and reusable components, and ensure these are actionable and lead to tangible business value for different archetypes.
  • Be a sparring partner for the Commerce Leadership team and support them in strategic planning, investment decisions, platform governance and cross functional alignment.
  • Provide architectural direction for large change programs and ensure compliance with platform and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Guide and align Solution Architects and Engineering teams through a dotted-line leadership model.
  • Collaborate, mentor and guide them to ensure close alignment between strategy & execution, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous learning and innovation.
  • Act as the guardian of architectural integrity, ensuring solutions align with the overall strategy and long-term platform sustainability.

Your profile:

You bring a strong combination of tech-savvy leadership and the ability to influence, challenge, and inspire senior stakeholders across both business and technology. In addition, you demonstrate the experience and depth needed to guide complex digital transformation.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in digital & technology; preferred candidate has a background in strategy consultancy and enterprise architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting enterprise-grade digital sales and marketing platforms and integrating with both legacy and modern systems.
  • Expertise across key technology platforms in Commerce such as headless front-ends, commerce engines, order management, sales & customer service, distributor, web and content management, data, and AI/ML engineering platforms.
  • Able to provide thought leadership and communicate clearly; you explain complex matters in understandable language and distill key insights for senior business & technology leaders.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions.
