Intern UX Designer

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.

During your internship as a UX Designer, you’ll wear many hats:

• Researcher: Dive into research to understand the "why" behind user behavior.
• Logic-Maker: Map out logical user flows, user journeys and information architectures.
• Designer: Design UX wireframes to define the right user interaction.
• Tester: After your black-and-white wireframes are turned into a visually appealing prototype by the UI designer, you validate them through usability testing and iterate together until the experience feels seamless.
• Storyteller: Present your designs and logic to the team and stakeholders.

You bring the drive and ambition, and we provide you with everything you need. From day one, you’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor for 1-on-1 coaching and join a powerhouse team of 40+ passionate designers who always have your back.

By the end of your UX design internship, you’ll have gained valuable experience in the field, worked on projects for A-list clients, and built a portfolio that truly turns heads.

Note: to be eligible for this internship, you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands and be fluent in Dutch

What you will do

• Dive into exciting projects for clients like BUUT, Inter Milan, Artis, UNICEF, and Lufthansa.
• Work on the full spectrum of UX related tasks: researching, mapping, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and presenting.
• Collaborate closely with Visual designers, developers, and strategists to create the best possible solution.

What we are looking for

• UX obsessed: you’re passionate about UX design, understanding users, and creating digital experiences.
• A proactive attitude, curiosity, and drive: we expect you to make the most of the opportunities you'll get!
• You have experience with leading design tools such as Figma.
• Have a convincing portfolio with UX related projects (think research, wireframing, testing, prototyping).
• Experience with AI tools and integrating them into your design process is a big plus. We love a future-proof mindset!

Hard requirements

• You are enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Availability of 5 days per week (40h), from September 2026 for a duration of 5 months.
• You speak Dutch fluently, and you’re also confident in English - whether you’re writing, presenting, or just chatting with the team.
