The aim of this webinar is to provide a comprehensive overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI) developments from a European law enforcement perspective, examining the risks associated with the criminal exploitation of AI. Furthermore, it will delve into the responses of law enforcement agencies, their strategic use of AI technologies, and the pivotal role of Europol in promoting and leveraging AI to enhance security and combat crime. Ultimately, this webinar will provide a forward-looking assessment of the future landscape of AI developments. It will highlight potential trends, challenges, and opportunities that law enforcement agencies must consider to stay ahead of emerging threats and harness the benefits of AI for a safer and more secure Europe.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

  • Analyse the current state of AI adoption by malicious actors, including criminals and other threat actors, and explain the potential consequences for European society;
  • Describe the current law enforcement response to AI-driven threats, including the use of AI-powered tools and technologies to prevent and investigate crimes;
