Marketing Internship at Danone

As a Sustainability Intern at Danone Global Specialized Nutrition, you will have the chance to join an agile team driving sustainability transformation across the organization, dig into market dynamics and competitive intelligence, animate internal communication plans, work with business teams to embed sustainability in their strategy, and help the team on day-to-day missions while interacting with many cross-functional teams within the company.

You will be part of the Sustainability team, a small and lean team connected to all the functions of the organization. You will be supervised by and report to the Sustainability Transformation Director of the Specialized Nutrition Unit of Danone. You will interact with different departments and gain experience at a global scope in a multicultural company.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Participate in the development of Danone Specialized Nutrition sustainability strategies through scouting of information, data consolidation, context understanding, and competitors’ tracking.
• Build and animate an internal communication plan, consisting of a quarterly newsletter, on-site events, upskilling programs, and an everyday engagement plan to spread Danone SN initiatives and actions across the organization.
• Support internal marketing and sales teams in embedding sustainability into their action plans.
• Monitor sustainability insights, benchmarks, and initiatives to translate them into actionable opportunities.

About you

We are looking for a Master student in Business or another equivalent field with a good understanding of business dynamics and a strong interest in Sustainability and Environmental Science, passionate about making business a force for good in the biggest B Corp™ in the world.

You have strong communication skills, are at ease with data and project management, are familiar with Excel and PowerPoint, and your English is fluent, both verbal and written. You are not afraid to proactively reach out to people when necessary and are perfectly able to work autonomously. You are curious, adaptable, reactive, and known for your professionalism. You can also demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail. Some creativity added to rigor is a plus.

Requirements:

• You are enrolled as a Master’s student during the entire internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you must be enrolled at a Dutch university).
• You are available as of July 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
• You are fluent in English, spoken and written.
• You are willing to commute at least 2 days a week to Hoofddorp, NL.
• You are required to relocate to the Netherlands, if currently abroad, for this internship and obtain a BSN (citizen service number).
