About the role

The Global Learning & Development Specialist plays a key role in enabling a culture of continuous learning and capability development across Orbia B&I globally. This is a hands-on role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning solutions that support business priorities and employee growth.

The role combines learning operations, digital learning design, and instructional design, ensuring that employees have access to engaging and relevant learning experiences. As part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Talent & Performance Management and Learning & Development, you will collaborate closely with People Business Partners, business leaders, and subject matter experts to translate business needs into scalable learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Experience Design

  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences that support capability building across the organization.
  • Partner with business leaders and People Business Partners to identify learning needs and translate them into effective learning solutions.
  • Apply modern learning methodologies such as blended learning, microlearning, and digital learning journeys.

Digital Learning Development

  • Design and develop interactive e-learning modules and digital learning content using Articulate (Storyline and/or Rise).
  • Translate complex subject matter into engaging and user-friendly digital learning experiences.
  • Continuously improve and update digital learning content to keep it relevant and impactful.

Global Learning Program Execution

  • Coordinate and execute global learning initiatives, including leadership programs, capability development programs, and functional learning solutions.
  • Manage the operational rollout of learning programs, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication.
  • Ensure a high-quality learning experience for participants across regions.

Learning Platforms & Analytics

  • Manage and maintain learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Track learning participation, engagement, and effectiveness using learning analytics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve learning impact.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay up to date with modern L&D trends, digital learning tools, and innovative learning practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the learning experience and learning ecosystem.
  • Contribute to building a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

Who You Are & What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, L&D, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or digital learning
  • Solid digital skills, including hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience developing elearning modules using Articulate or similar tools
  • Energetic, creative, and highly organized, with strong project management capabilities
  • Strong instructional design and learning experience design skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into impactful learning solutions
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use learning data and insights
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience working in a global or international environment preferred
