P2P Finance Operations Specialist is responsible for processing invoices and expense claims in a timely and high quality manner as defined by Service Level Agreements and customer expectations, responding to assigned enquiries, resolving open items with vendors and collaborating closely with the AP and Expenses team while seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, a good customer experience and contributing to a positive working atmosphere.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Code and process invoices and expense claims in line with procedures.
  • Ensure that all processed documents are posted in accordance with accounting rules and legal compliance.
  • Reverse and correctly repost documents posted in error.
  • Handle customers' requests and enquiries.
  • Write and maintain process documentation.
  • Perform all activities in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Seek opportunities for AP process improvements and implement them.
  • Share and apply best practices in the Accounts Payable area.
  • Support the AP and Expenses Junior Accountant with daily tasks.
  • Act as a deputy for an AP and Expenses Coordinator in delegated areas and/or tasks.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Ensure that all relevant company standards and guidelines are met.
  • Prepare and review payment proposals.

About you

  • English skills minimum at level B2.
  • 2 years of experience in a Finance department will be a strong asset.
  • University degree, preferably in accounting-related courses, or currently completing studies if available for a full-time job.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and accounting software.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and an open-minded attitude.
  • Very good self-organization and target orientation skills.
  • Customer and teamwork focus and capability.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility, especially during month-end and year-end closing periods.
