A versatile role as dedicated Grant Advisor in a dynamic and international pre-award team. Teaming up with world-leading researchers in the Center for Translational Immunology, you help set funding strategies and co-write applications.
We are looking for an experienced Grant Advisor who is familiar with the (inter)national grant landscape and can help researchers navigate through the maze of funding opportunities and regulations. The ideal candidate proactively informs researchers about new and fitting funding opportunities and helps them write and review winning grant proposals. You are especially strong in testing and translating ideas into first concepts that fit calls for proposals.
In this role, you have a leading role in the development of complex national and international grant applications together with the principal investigator and their partners. Together with the Management Team of the Center for Translational Immunology, you will set the priorities. You will be in charge of managing grant preparation from the idea phase to the final submission and especially invest your time in translating ideas into first concepts.
Furthermore, you will take the lead in guiding the content of the proposal and the writing process, and are responsible for co-writing parts of the proposal and turning it into a high-quality application. With a proactive approach, you’ll keep yourself up to date with the scientific developments in the strategic theme and proactively contact researchers with appropriate funding opportunities, identifying and consolidating fitting funding strategies. Within the F&S team, you will be a sparring partner for your direct peers. This is also where you will find your sparring partners in building consortia, conceptualizing ideas, and transforming them into successful grant applications.
