You & your role

As a Product Manager, you work on steering an end-to-end model development squad which focus on data-driven sales models. The squad has two major tasks: (1) the discovery, exploration and building of new models for acquisition, cross-sell and churn on specific business client populations and (2) the development and operations of our underlying data & model engine for these models. Besides managing the delivery of the squad you will also be responsible for developing the future strategy of our data-driven sales engine.

Examples from practice

  • Work directly with (internal) customers to learn how processes and systems work and understand what solutions could add value for them.
  • Steering the delivery and the quality of our data-driven sales & engagement models on acquisition, cross-sell and churn, including steering the team to solve critical and/or complex problems.
  • Ensuring the underlying data and model engine is fully operational and fit-for-purpose including compliancy, security and monitoring.

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a future proof strategy and roadmap for the models and build a strong relationship with business domains to secure commitment to shared AI solutions.
  • Realize high quality and scalable Data & Analytics and ensure that these solutions are compliant with internal and external regulations.
  • Manage a team of Data Scientist and Engineers. Enable the team to deliver and maintain high quality scalable sales models by managing the product backlog and delivery flow by setting clear priorities, safeguarding timelines and balancing innovation with operational stability.

The members of the squad are responsible for creating, delivering and maintaining analytics solutions that support sales activities in terms of acquisitions, cross-sell and churn strategies. The team consists out of Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineers, DevOps Engineering and Business Analysts which all add their expertise to build a high quality solution and to overcome data, analytics and IT challenges together.

You & your talent

  • You have at least 5 or more years of experience working as a product manager.
  • Experience with AI, preferably as a product manager.
  • You have a proven track-record on building and bringing Data & Analytics solutions to production.
  • Experience with sales & engagement models (acquisition, cross-sell, churn) is preferred.
  • You have experience leading Data & Analytics teams and tech projects, coaching others, sharing knowledge and implementing best practices.
  • You’re able to define and present strategic plans to executive teams.
  • You communicate well in the English language (both spoken and written).
  • Preferably you have a background in the banking industry.
  • To be considered for this position you must be located in the Netherlands, re-location is not possible for this role.
