As a Medior Project Manager Diversity & Inclusion within the AI Driven HR team, you play a key role in projects related to the EU Pay Transparency Directive and DEI. You guide organisations in interpreting and implementing this directive and ensure that complex legislation is translated into clear, actionable solutions. You combine subject‑matter expertise, project management skills and commercial awareness.

You work closely with consultants, data analysts and other specialists, and act as a fully-fledged discussion partner for clients.

Your responsibilities as a Medior Project Manager at Highberg

You will work for one or more well‑known organisations and support them with challenges at the intersection of diversity & inclusion, pay transparency and regulation. Together with your colleagues at Highberg, you help clients understand the impact of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and embed it sustainably in both policy and practice. At the same time, you contribute to projects that connect DEI, HR and organisational development.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating DEI and pay transparency projects (scope, planning, budget and stakeholders)
  • Providing substantive direction on projects related to: DEI and the EU Pay Transparency Directive
  • Advising clients on the strategic and organisational implications of the directive
  • Collaborating with data analysts and consultants to translate analyses and insights into concrete recommendations
  • Contributing to proposition development, proposals and commercial activities
  • Safeguarding the quality, consistency and accuracy of project deliverables

What do we ask?

  • A completed university or applied sciences degree
  • Approximately 2–4 years of relevant experience as a project manager, consultant or advisor
  • Demonstrable affinity with or knowledge of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, reward topics and/or People Analytics
  • Knowledge of the EU Pay Transparency Directive, or the ability to quickly master complex legislation
  • Commercial awareness and confidence in client‑facing situations
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Availability for 5 days per week and living within one hour of our Amsterdam office
  • Participation in a pre‑employment screening is part of the hiring process
