As a Supply Chain Portfolio & Innovation Assistant Manager, you will sit at the heart of our food portfolio, leading end-to-end Supply Chain coordination and turning bold innovation into market reality. Job summary

What you’ll do

  • Lead the change: Drive complex projects and process improvements in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Drive simplification: Shape a future-fit portfolio by streamlining operations and navigating change with confidence.
  • Collaborate & align: Bring cross-functional teams and stakeholders together through clear, effective communication.
  • Analyze & optimize: Turn data and insights into smart decisions that move the business forward.

Key responsibilities

1. Project management

  • Own end-to-end Supply Chain delivery at each project step.
  • Ensure effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support risk assessments and contribute to business case and costing review.
  • Coordinate roll-outs and deployment execution.
  • Drive savings, factory efficiency and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Align Capex requirements with SUs and ensure implementation of long-term capacity plans.
  • Conduct make-or-buy studies to design optimal sourcing allocation.

2. Portfolio management / Simplification

  • Analyze portfolio data to assess health and provide clear business insights.
  • Coordinate tail management with cross-functional team.
  • Identify Supply Chain complexity drivers and translate them into simplification actions.
  • Anticipate consumer and customer needs and translate them into required SC capabilities.
  • Drive value recovery, 5S and efficiency opportunities across Supply Chain.
  • Lead in-/outsourcing initiatives and network optimization projects.

  • A strategic and analytical thinker, able to turn data, risks and trade-offs into clear business decisions.
  • A strong communicator and collaborator who brings structure to complexity and aligns diverse stakeholders.

Essential

  • Experience in either Plan / Make / Source / R&D / Innovation management.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Data management/analysis skills.
  • Critical/strategic thinking.
  • Stakeholder management.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of Finance / Business Case.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Technical acumen.

Travel requirements

  • Few short business trips within Europe per year to visit factories or team gatherings (subject to budget plans).
