About the Role

Team Leads for Business Development manage Business Development Representatives and are principally centered on people management of teams focused on revenue-generating activity. Responsibilities may include using the Help Centre (help.uber.com), saved replies, and creating blog posts to inform teams of changes to products, processes, or policies.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate and set clear expectations with team members
  • Coach and develop sales agents
  • Understand local Ops strategies and ensure team operations are aligned to maximize impact
  • Drive strategic plans to improve team performance
  • Work with stakeholders in Ops and Sales for reviewing output and pushing sales strategy/tactics down to CommOps team

What You'll Need

  • 2-3 years of sales or account management experience
  • At least 1 year of people management experience
  • People development and coaching experience in a team environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with ability to manage through ambiguity
  • Experience in B2B/B2C sales environments
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective stakeholder management skills
  • High level of ownership and accountability
