Regulatory Compliance Specialist

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will work in the Application Group department within our Supply Chain organization. The Regulatory Compliance Specialist manages the regulatory registration document flow from the Nestlé Almere packaging site to support licensing and product registrations for Nestlé Health Science across all export markets. The role establishes efficient ways of working and collaborates with cross‑functional and multi‑market teams to ensure timely, accurate, and complete registration submissions.

This position coordinates dossier preparation with Regulatory teams in the markets, global project teams, and factories, ensuring right‑first‑time documentation. You will also lead regulatory change assessments with receiving markets and support factories on registration‑related questions or change‑control requirements. In addition, the role includes coordinating and liaising with local authorities in the Netherlands to obtain required certificates and regulatory documents.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and providing product registration documents, license renewals, and variation dossiers to receiving markets.
  • Coordinating with Regulatory teams in the markets, global project teams, the global regulatory operations team, and factory teams to gather, align, and compile regulatory documentation in line with market‑specific regulatory requirements and timelines.
  • Coordinating and liaising with local authorities in the Netherlands to secure required certificates (e.g. Free Sale Certificates, Veterinary/Health Certificates) and regulatory documentation to support timely product registrations.
  • Preparing and compiling registration dossiers with full accountability for accuracy, alignment with international regulatory requirements, and compliance with notarization and legalization needs.
  • Supporting the Quality team during factory audits by local authorities and in relation to Halal/Kosher compliance and export‑market impact assessments.
  • Supporting the Import/Export team with customs‑related documents that form part of regulatory documentation and local authority certificates, ensuring compliance with market‑specific shipment and regulatory requirements.

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will report to the Application Group Manager.

This is what you bring to the Regulatory Compliance Specialist role

  • A completed bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Food Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Nestlé regulatory role or equivalent regulatory experience in the food industry, pharmaceutical sector, trade associations, or government authorities.
  • Applied knowledge of key regulatory areas such as food safety, consumer information, nutrition and health, additives, and quality.
  • Project management experience is an advantage.
  • An innovative and proactive mindset.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
