About the role

The Digital Wholesale Intern supports the Wholesale team with the day-to-day coordination of KARL LAGERFELD’s Digital Partners business, to achieve the channel’s commercial and operational objectives. The Digital Wholesale Intern has strong communication and organisational skills, an interest in e-commerce and fashion, and is tech-savvy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering support in developing digital wholesale business (prospection, market research).
  • Supporting digital wholesale portfolio through back- and front-office work (sell-through tracking, sales analysis, illustrated buys, sales appointments, etc.).
  • Analysing ecommerce fashion business trends and preparing weekly internal reports.
  • Optimizing sell-out approach for existing clients through monitoring performance and KPI’s.
  • Providing assistance to the wholesale team during sales campaign: presenting seasonal collections to clients in the showroom, collecting orders, tracking the OTB’s, maintaining showroom standards (Visual Merchandising, client reception).
  • Working closely with operations team to track the products flow.
  • Assisting in overseeing commercial operations and marketing activations for key accounts.
  • Handling after-sale service for partners.
  • Order management (order entry, SWAPs, reorders, deliveries).
  • Analysing seasonal buys, identifying key categories, products and trends, collecting and processing customer feedback.
  • Assets distribution (product linesheets, marketing assets, product overviews, etc.).

Your Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business/E-commerce or a Fashion-related field.
  • Available for a period of 6 months.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written; additional language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must (vlookup, pivots, etc.).
  • Proactivity, self-organization, ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interest in fashion, wholesale and ecommerce.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.

Start date: ASAP

Eligibility requirements:

  • You must be enrolled for the full duration of your internship at your school or university.
  • Due to Dutch legislation, you must be in possession of European nationality or study in the Netherlands.
