De Nederlandse woningmarkt is altijd in beweging. Of het nu gaat om woningtekort, de duurzame woontransitie of de recente stijging van de rentetarieven, ING maakt enorme impact binnen deze markt voor zowel potentiële en bestaande klanten. Wij zoeken een productmanager die als geen ander weet wat er speelt binnen de hypothekenmarkt én een enorme bijdrage wil leveren aan de verdere groei in de huidige markt. Met 600.000+ klanten zijn wij een van de grootste hypotheekverstrekkers van het land. En onze ambities zijn groot!

Op onze afdeling (Tribe) ING Wonen werken we eraan om het grootste, mobile-led en duurzame hypotheeklabel van Nederland te worden. Om deze ambitie waar te maken zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren productmanager (customer journey expert), die diepgaande kennis heeft van hypotheekproducten, de processen en de wet- en regelgeving daaromtrent. Deze kennis en ervaring weet je om te zetten in concrete verbetervoorstellen voor ons productaanbod en je neemt de verantwoordelijkheid voor de implementatie en afstemming voor deze product en systeemwijzigingen. ING Wonen is een van de grootste tribes binnen ING Retail, met 60 agile teams (squads), hoofdzakelijk gevestigd in Amsterdam. De tribe omvat alle producten en processen die komen kijken bij het starten, afsluiten en beheren van een ING-hypotheek.

Jouw team

Jouw team focust zich op het hypotheekaanvraagproces en is verantwoordelijk voor het acceptatiebeleid van onze hypotheken. Je speelt een cruciale rol in het initiëren van productverbeteringen en doorvertalen van nieuwe proposities om onze doelgroepen nog beter te bedienen. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het optimaliseren en implementeren van product- en proceswijzigingen, heb je verstand van business-to-IT implementaties en heb je kennis over alle relevante wet- en regelgeving.

Intern werk je samen met andere afdelingen, zoals de risicopartijen, onze adviseurs (ING-adviseurs en Intermediairs) en overige stakeholders in de gehele hypotheekketen. Extern werk je samen met partijen als NHG, BKR, HDN en externe adviessoftwarepartijen.

Je bent een teamspeler, hebt een uitstekend probleemoplossend vermogen en weet projecten van concept tot uitvoering aan te sturen. Als onze nieuwe productmanager:

• Ben je bekend met de wet- en regelgeving van hypotheken en overzie je de impact van veranderingen op de gehele hypotheekketen;
• Zijn het acceptatiebeleid, de diverse historische en actuele productvormen van een hypotheek je niet onbekend;
• Duik je graag diep in de inhoud om zo de allerbeste producten te creëren;
• Begrijp je de noodzaak om te voldoen aan alle wet- en regelgeving, maar durf je ook alternatieven te bespreken en de status quo ter discussie te stellen;
• Weet je wat onze klanten belangrijk vinden en hoe je de beste klantervaring realiseert;
• Heb je zelfstandig en ondernemend vermogen om projecten te realiseren;
• Beschik je over sterke analytische vaardigheden, heb je oog voor detail en neem je beslissingen op basis van data en feiten.

Over jou

Je hebt:

• Een bachelors- of masterdiploma;
• Diepgaande kennis van de Nederlandse woning- & hypothekenmarkt;
• Inzicht in de behoeften en uitdagingen van klant en adviseur;
• Een commerciële instelling en drive om impact te maken;
• Aantoonbare ervaring met het implementeren van vernieuwingen in hypotheekbeleid en/of -proposities;
• Sterk probleemoplossend vermogen en werk je fact based en data-gedreven;
• Solide interpersoonlijke en samenwerkingsvaardigheden om met verschillende typen belanghebbenden te schakelen;
• Sterke affiniteit met Business-to-IT implementaties en het doorvertalen van ideeën en requirements naar impact;
• Uitstekende taalvaardigheid in zowel Nederlands als Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk).

We are looking for an experienced product manager with a passion for mortgages. The Dutch housing market is always in motion. Whether it concerns a housing shortage, the sustainable housing transition or the recent increase in interest rates, ING makes a huge impact within this market for both potential and existing customers. We are looking for a product manager who knows better than anyone what is going on in the mortgage market and wants to make a huge contribution to the further growth in the current market. With 600,000+ customers, we are one of the largest mortgage providers in the country. And our ambitions are big!

Your department

In our department (tribe) ING Wonen we are working on becoming the best mobile-led, sustainable mortgage label in the Netherlands. To realize this ambition, we are looking for an experienced product manager (customer journey expert), who has in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, the processes, strong business-to-IT implementation skills and knows about all mortgages related laws and regulations. You know how to translate this knowledge and experience into concrete improvement proposals for our product range and you take responsibility for the implementation and coordination of these product and system changes. Do you have that entrepreneurial mentality to take it on and make it happen? Then we are looking for you! ING Wonen is one of the largest tribes within ING Retail, with 60 agile teams (squads), mainly located in Amsterdam. The tribe includes all products and processes involved in starting, concluding and managing an ING mortgage.

Your team

Your team focuses on the mortgage application process and is responsible for the acceptance policy of our mortgages. You play a crucial role in initiating product improvements and translating new propositions to serve our target groups even better. In addition, you are responsible for optimizing and implementing product and process changes based on legislation and regulations.

Internally, you work together with other departments, such as the risk parties, our advisors (ING advisors and Intermediaries) and other stakeholders in the entire mortgage chain. Externally, you work together with parties such as NHG, BKR, HDN and external advisory software parties.

How to become successful

You are a team player, have excellent problem-solving skills and know how to manage projects from concept to implementation. As our new product manager:

• Are you familiar with mortgage legislation and regulations and do you understand the impact of changes on the entire mortgage chain;
• Are you familiar with the acceptance policy, the various historical and current product forms of a mortgage;
• Do you like to delve deeply into the content in order to create the very best products;
• Do you understand the need to comply with all legislation and regulations, but do you also dare to discuss alternatives and question the status quo;
• Do you know what our customers find important and how to realize the best customer experience;
• Do you have independent and entrepreneurial ability to realize projects;
• Do you have strong analytical skills, do you have an eye for detail and do you make decisions based on data and facts.

About you

You have:

• A bachelor's or master's degree;
• In-depth knowledge of the Dutch housing & mortgage market;
• Insight into the needs and challenges of the client and advisor;
• A commercial attitude and drive to make an impact;
• Demonstrable experience with implementing innovations in mortgage policies and/or propositions;
• Strong problem-solving skills and work fact-based and data-driven;
• Solid interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage with different types of stakeholders;
• Strong affinity with Business-to-IT and translating ideas and requirements into impact;
• Excellent language skills in both Dutch and English (oral and written).
