The Data & Analytics team was founded to drive the transition to a data-driven organization.

The Data & Analytics team is dedicated to setting up a central data infrastructure, where data from all different sources within Anthony Veder will be integrated into a single source of truth. Furthermore, the team will provide business value by enabling near real-time monitoring and signaling of data, providing insights to manage our fleet proactively, and leading the transition to a data-driven company culture.

Your objective as Data Engineer

• Develop, manage and monitor data pipelines to ingest and process data to our data platform (Data Lakehouse on Azure).
• Own the technology of the data platform and manage the work and delivery pace to extend and improve this platform.
• Understand business needs to identify challenges and risks better and make informed decisions on the infrastructure design.
• Analyse and organize raw data, ensuring data is reliable and trustworthy for consumption.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the way we work and process work to maximize our value to the organization.
• Drive thinking regarding new technologies and applications in the team and the organization.

What we are looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (higher professional education (HBO) or scientific/research education (WO, Bachelor or Master)).
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Working experience with building data lakehouse in Azure (Synapse, DevOps).
• Ability to use Python, Git, Terraform (IaC), SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written command of English.
• Ability to organize, refine and manage your work.
• Analytical thinking.
• Proactivity.
