At HUB Organoids, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager who wants to use their expertise to support our mission to accelerate the drug discovery pipeline for our customers, applying our state-of-the-art organoid (“a patient in the lab”) technology. You contribute to the success of HUB by delivering projects on time, on schedule, and within budget, contributing to the commercial targets of the organization.

Scope of position:

You will be part of the Project Management Office. As a Project Manager you bring project management expertise to handle multi-disciplinary and complex service as well as long-term research projects. You work closely with our business development, finance, research teams, quality assurance and regulatory affairs to manage project quality, schedule, budget and scope. You have close interaction with Heads of Departments (HoD/Managers) and the Management team. As a Project Manager, you contribute to the development and implementation of project-related best practices, guidelines and procedures, working together with internal stakeholders including the HUB executives.

What will you do?

  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple departments.
  • Own multiple projects from conception to closure.
  • Act as single point of contact with the client throughout the project life cycle for administrative and logistics questions or issues related to projects.
  • Manage all aspects of projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and direct support to achieve them.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Prepare monthly reports focusing on scope, budget and schedule for the management team.
  • Prepare monthly revenue recognition data corresponding to study progress and milestones.
  • Work with R&D and Business Development on project scope changes and ensure customer amendments are in place where necessary.
  • Support the finance department for invoicing linked with project milestones, including final cost summaries at the end of the project.
  • Respond to audit requests from internal and external stakeholders where applicable and necessary.
  • Resolve issues with customers regarding study costs and invoicing issues in support with the finance department.
  • Apply extensive knowledge and understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques.

  • Working-level proficiency with project management tools such as Wrike, MS Project, etc.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability to business needs.
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.
  • Ability to demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems and making decisions.
  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in biotechnology, cell biology, immunology, oncology or other related disciplines preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working in the CRO and/or biotech industry.
  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience and working with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, particularly writing skills.
