About this role

As our Senior Financial Controller HQ, you will join our Group Finance department to own the financial controllership for our Netherlands-based headquarters. In this role, you will Lead by driving excellence in reporting, Deliver by taking ownership of complex financial modeling, and Care by collaborating with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Tax teams to help one another succeed. We are looking for a determined professional ready to own their results and drive impact across our global operations.

Reporting to: Finance Director HQ

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Drive financial controllership for HQ entities, ensuring we always aim high and maintain reporting integrity.

• Lead impairment testing processes, including Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) calculations and financial modeling.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders in FP&A and Tax to help one another succeed and deliver impact.

• Manage and facilitate complex projects across reporting, accounting, and tax.

• Implement automation and AI-driven solutions to simplify the Month-End Close (MEC) and financial reporting.

• Foster a culture of excellence by providing technical guidance and supporting team growth through collaboration.

• Act as a bridge between various finance teams to ensure we deliver consistent and high-quality results.

What will you bring to the team?

• Deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and a commitment to achieving high-quality goals.

• Experience navigating the financial complexities of large, fast-paced organizations, with a background in audit or corporate financial control.

• Proven ability to develop a strong understanding of internal partners through expert stakeholder management.

• Technical expertise in financial modeling, specifically Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and WACC calculations.

• A proactive mindset with a focus on acting responsibly and making a lasting impact on the business.

• Proficiency in leveraging technology and AI to simplify complex processes and move at pace.
