YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaboration is key in this dynamic environment. As our expert you will engage with a diverse array of stakeholders, working hand-in-hand to ensure that every piece of the puzzle fits perfectly. Together, they will strive to achieve performance level targets that reflect the dedication and hard work of the entire team.

You will be onsite at our office in Hoofddorp one day a week. This arrangement provides you with the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of hybrid working while fostering collaboration and connection with your team!

As a Supply Chain Expert, your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Demand Management: Prepare, execute, monitor, and follow up on product demand for insecticides, biologics, seeds, and third-party products.
  • Order Delivery Review: Review changes in order deliveries with supplying units to ensure timely delivery for customers. Perform plausibility checks on forecast and stock level information, providing accurate and timely reporting.
  • Sales & Operations Planning: Prepare the Sales & Operations planning process for the Dutch organization. Propose adjustments to forecasts based on demand changes, product availability, and delivered orders.
  • Third-Party Contact: Act as the main contact for third parties regarding product supply and BCS product buybacks between countries.
  • Product Life Cycle Administration: Manage product life cycle administration for the assigned product range to ensure optimal planning and initial master data setup.
  • Logistical Supplier Management: Oversee contacts with local logistical suppliers for inventory monitoring and controls. Responsible for the control and administration of all logistical invoices.
  • Artwork/Label Management: Coordinate the artwork and label process for selected products with Marketing, Regulatory, Sales, and Artwork agencies.
  • Customer Service Coordination: Manage contacts with Customer Service for inventory monitoring and checks.
  • Purchase Order Creation: Create and follow up on yearly purchase orders for services (warehouse, transport, labels, etc.) in Smartbuy.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate activities with Warehouse/Distribution Center and logistics partners (TMS / DP World).

YOUR KEY WORKING RELATIONS

In this role, you'll collaborate with key departments like Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service to enhance customer offerings and ensure swift responses. You'll engage with supply chain colleagues from neighboring countries and BCS factories, while building relationships with major customers, third parties, and our logistical partner. Staying connected with the industry association and local authorities will also be essential. Your ability to foster these relationships will drive our success!

WHO YOU ARE

To excel in this role, we seek a candidate with a strong background in supply chain management and a collaborative mindset. You will possess excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, along with the eagerness to learn and navigate a dynamic environment effectively.

Key Requirements:

  • Current residency in the Netherlands with fluency in Dutch and English (C2 level).
  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of proven operational demand and forecasting experience
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, along with supporting systems and expertise in forecasting processes and tools
