About the internship

In this internship, you will support the EMEA Instruments Marketing Communications (MarCom) team in developing compelling branded content that elevates internal and external storytelling. You will collaborate closely with the MarCom team, cross-functional stakeholders and occasionally external partners to bring design projects to life. You will help ensure Stryker’s brand is consistently represented across channels and will contribute to impactful communication tools for commercial teams.

What you will do:

  • Create and adapt visual assets for wide-ranging communication needs – including internal and external presentations, marketing collateral for existing and new products, sales enablement tools, campaigns and event materials in partnership with various functional teams.
  • Support the update and maintenance of existing communication resources such as newsletters (Marketo), and digital platforms (Highspot).
  • Ensure communication is consistent and reflects the brand standards (corporate guidelines), mission, values, culture and strategic priorities of the organization.
  • Manage multiple design requests, track progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and propose creative solutions that enhance internal processes and communication effectiveness.
  • Develop standardized reusable templates and toolkits to enable regional stakeholders to produce high quality, brand consistent communications independently.
  • Stay abreast of company developments and trends.
  • May collaborate with agencies or contractors for graphic design, print, etc.

What you need:

Required:

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Marketing or any related field. It is required to be enrolled at a Dutch University for the entire duration of the internship (min. 6 months).
  • You are eligible to pursue an internship in The Netherlands.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft PowerPoint is a must.
  • You already have previous internship experience and aspire to continue learning/developing further.
  • You are a creative thinker with a strong eye for typography, layout, composition and other graphic design principles to ensure brand consistency.
  • You demonstrate ability to condense, organize and convey complex information into simple, visually engaging formats for diverse audiences.
  • You possess strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, prioritization/multitasking skills and the ability to act independently and cross-functionally collaborate.
  • Excellent verbal, proofreading and editing skills in English.

Preferred:

  • Experience with digital platforms (SharePoint, Marketo, Highspot) and print production is a plus.
