BTW Specialist/VAT Specialist - BPS

For the International Compliance & Reporting department, we are looking for a VAT Specialist. Your focus will mainly be on compliance: you will execute VAT and supplement declarations for medium-sized and large international companies and advise on the design and implementation of clients’ VAT administration. You will work closely with our indirect tax specialists. As a VAT specialist, you breathe indirect tax and keep the team updated with the latest news and specific VAT knowledge.

What impact will you make?

You meet the following conditions:

• You have completed a HBO or university education in, for example, tax law or fiscal economics.
• You have between 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Analytical, ambitious, client and result oriented.
• Communication and commercial skills.
• You have good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.

How do you do this?

• Preparation of VAT and Intrastat returns.
• Preparation of European Sales listings.
• Reconciliation of the VAT ledger with VAT returns.
• Design and implement the VAT administrations for clients.
• Advising in the field of VAT compliance and VAT audits.
• Identifying VAT advice and VAT issues.
