Kiwa is one of the world’s fastest-growing organizations in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting. Are you looking for an IT Project Manager role where you can be part of complex, large-scale integration projects? Overview:

We are looking for an IT Technical Project Manager who grew up in IT, speaks the language of engineers, and has the strategic mindset to manage complex migrations and technology integrations end-to-end. This is not a “pure” administrative PM role. You will be the single point of accountability across parallel workstreams; Workplace & Identity, Infrastructure and Applications, bridging the gap between technical specialists, global vendors, and senior business stakeholders. You will thrive here if you enjoy a flat, consensus-oriented culture and can navigate the complexities of a geographically dispersed, multi-country organization.

Technical Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the migration of identities, applications, and infrastructure from on-premises/legacy environments to the Microsoft Azure Stack (Entra ID, AVD, M365, IaaS)
  • Own end-to-end execution of migration waves using a persona-based, department-by-department cutover approach, ensuring business continuity at every step
  • Oversee the assessment of SaaS applications and on-premises servers
  • Apply a Value vs. Effort prioritization framework
  • Ensure rollback plans are in place and validated before every wave cutover

Vendor Management

  • Act as primary contract point for external vendors and system integrators across infrastructure, M365 migration, and identity workstreams
  • Chair weekly vendor delivery meetings; hold vendors accountable to agreed scope, milestones, and budgetary constraints
  • Coordinate Microsoft engagement for licensing, Entra ID configuration, and cloud tooling setup

Project/Program Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Own the integrated master project/program plan across all workstreams, maintaining the risk register, issue log, and decision log
  • Report progress regularly to IT SteerCo and executive-level Integration SteerCo
  • Prepare board-level decision memos on critical unresolved technical and architectural issues
  • Coordinate with the CISO on security approvals — firewall rules, Conditional Access policies, data collector tooling
  • Apply PRINCE2 or PMP methodologies for documentation, risk management, and reporting standards
  • Use OKRs to track project outcomes and ensure delivery drives measurable business value

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who brings strong communication and “diplomatic” skills. You are able to build consensus in a flat hierarchy without relying on top-down authority. You are confident presenting to C-level stakeholders (CIO, CISO) and equally at ease with technical engineers. Further you are a structured thinker, able to maintain clarity and momentum across a high-volume, multi-threaded projects. Where needed you remain calm under pressure with hard, non-negotiable project deadlines.

You bring the following background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years in IT Project Management, with a focus on infrastructure and digital transformation
  • Background in ITOps — servers, Active Directory, on-premises and cloud applications, legacy systems
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple specialist vendors simultaneously within a single programme
  • Based in the Netherlands and allowed to work here

Technical Literacy

You don’t need to execute the technical work, but you must understand it well enough to validate plans, spot risks, and challenge vendors:

  • Azure / Entra ID: tenants, Cross-Tenant Sync, federation, UPNs, managed vs. federated identities
  • 365 workloads: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive — and what migrating each actually involves
  • Infrastructure: on-prem vs. IaaS/PaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, DFS file shares, AD forests and trusts
  • Migration methodology: the 6 Rs framework
  • Device management: Intune, Autopilot, device reimaging and deployment
