To further strengthen our Poultry Division, we are currently recruiting a Field Service Planner / Scheduler who will be responsible for scheduling a group of Field Service Engineers in the EMEA Region. In this role you will work closely with two other Field Service Schedulers and together you will be responsible for planning a team of approximately 70 Service Engineers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for efficiently, timely, and accurately scheduling, rescheduling, updating, and communicating field service activities.
  • Closely collaborates with stakeholders such as Project Management, Customer Support, Technical Support, Field Service Planner, and Field Service Engineers.
  • Aligns with Project Manager/Coordinator and Customer Support Coordinator to ensure scheduling matches delivery of equipment and spare parts.
  • Reserves and manages capacity for all field service activities, both proactive and reactive.
  • Schedules Field Service Engineers (FSEs) based on work orders, location, and priority, in compliance with laws, regulations, and work-life balance; monitors progress and responds quickly to changes.
  • Identifies resource needs, shortages, or excess and works with stakeholders to find optimal solutions; communicates changes and issues in the scheduling process.
  • Maintains up-to-date service schedules and capacity overviews, ensures efficient use of resources, and aligns with the Field Service Manager on availability, skills, and training needs.

What kind of a person are you?

  • Bachelor Degree or other relevant educational background
  • 3+ years of experience with operations management and/or field service scheduling is preferred
  • Knowledge of Service Administration processes, preferably in a Sales or Service environment.
  • Remains calm under pressure, is resilient in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment and able to build strong relationships with our Field Service Engineers
  • Guidance and motivation of people, gaining commitment from both internal and external colleagues.
  • Process oriented and thrives in an active and fast paced environment
  • Ability to work closely with a pool of Field Service Engineers and understand the dynamics and capabilities of the team.
  • Stakeholder handling skills and social perceptiveness.
