Internship in Category Procurement (Direct Materials)

Currently we have an intern position available in the Direct Materials team for Category Procurement for FrieslandCampina.

During your internship, you will join the Global Procurement Ingredients Specialties Team and will support with:

• Market analysis for different Ingredients sub-categories (eg: Vitamins, Modified starches, Flavours, etc) to support the strategy development
• Support with sustainability roadmaps
• Support in tender processes
• Support on structuring spend data and category analysis
• Improve contract and quality control compliance

This position will give you the opportunity to experience category procurement dynamics at a global level, being part of a truly international team (we have more than 13 nationalities across both teams).

Wat we vragen

You have to be enrolled in B.A., BSc or Masters during the entire internship.
We are looking for somebody who is proactive, with good communication skills and who is eager to learn and has an appetite for delivering results. English proficiency is required.

Excel skills are a plus.

Preferred start-date: Flexible start dates from April 2026 - August 2026
You're available to work within the department for 4-5 days a week (with a Hybrid working model)

You will also work closely with the finance team on budget, cost break down definition and value drivers.Joining the Procurement department will bring you in contact with other departments such as R&D, Sales and Marketing at global level as well as external stakeholders.
