Purpose of Role

Sr. Project Manager Store Expansion is responsible for managing all current and future locations in the EMEA region for our DTC (Direct to Consumer) Owned & Operated business. This position manages multiple projects simultaneously across our owned full price and outlet channels from project initiation till completion. Sr. Manager works with internal cross functional departments (Real Estate, DTC Operations, Global & EMEA Store Design, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Sales) and external stakeholders like landlords, contractors and UA vendors; to ensure the projects are delivered on time, in scope, within budget & meeting UA’s quality standards. This role is reporting to the Retail Director and is the primary point of contact for DTC O&O to drive the new store opening/Refit process & influencing key stakeholders in decision making; responsible to initiate improvements, set up tools – process & procedures to support the business for long term success.

Your Impact

  • Manages the EMEA DTC O&O new space opening or refit program; ensures the projects will be delivered on time, within budget & quality and brand standards.
  • Setting budgets and timelines for all projects and tracking against these.
  • Supports the Real Estate point of contact in the business case preparation and during leasing process with feasibility and technical input.
  • Leads project teams with internal (Operations, Merchandising, Store Design, VM, RM) and external (Architects, consultants, contractors) stakeholders on a continuous basis.
  • Leads procurement, contracting and management of all consultants and vendors per project.
  • Manages Facility Management for all stores by orchestrating external partners to ensure quality and delivery aligned with academic standards.
  • Develops processes, tools & vendors to set the department up for long term success and elevate the brand, supports the EMEA strategy.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Construction or Architecture or related studies preferred.
  • 10 + years of relevant experience managing Retail Development projects for an international retailer.
  • Proficiency in Autocad; Ms Office including Ms Project.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Ability.
  • Strong cross functional communication skills; able to manage conflicts, maintains composure in challenging conversations.
