Internship: Global Transformation and Project Management

Start Date: As of May 2026

Duration: at least 6 months

Type: Internship (non-thesis)

Weekly Presence: 40h (minimum 32h)

Your role:

In this role, you have the opportunity to work on several internal project tactics for our global Services Center of Excellence organization. You will work closely with a team of experts in the transformation program to deliver software releases globally. You will interact and closely collaborate with various (senior) stakeholders at different levels, different parts, different cultures and different personalities, which makes your role a truly global role with loads of learning elements.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Facilitate Design factory meetings, document results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate Global User Acceptance Testing, support in preparation and reporting results.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and have them incorporated in the ways of working.
  • Facilitate critical activity such as impact assessment sessions and document results
  • Prepare weekly report out decks to support the PMO
  • Create content that motivates and informs employees of important issues, accomplishments, and events involving the company
  • Capture and Monitor actions and ensure overdue actions are limited.
  • Support the planning and execution of other project activities as required.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, marketing, IT or a related field
  • Previous internship or related experience in project planning is a plus
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools like Teams, SharePoint and Yammer.
  • You have experience in MS products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • You are highly proficient in English (preferably mother tongue). You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with others in a clear and pleasant way
  • You are a creative thinker with a passion for planning and problem solving
  • You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • You are a pro-active, result- and detail-oriented
  • You have a structured and organized approach to your tasks

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

We offer you:

A non-stop growth opportunity within a global multinational company. In addition, we also want to renumerate you well for the opportunity. This includes:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office, we’ll offer you a monthly allowance of €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we’ll just ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip).
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net as a monthly allowance.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop.
