Behind that growth lies a complex operational environment: club openings, franchise management, facility operations, and thousands of colleagues who rely on internal systems to do their jobs every day. These systems must be reliable, scalable, and easy to use for operational teams across Europe.

As Technical Lead Business Solutions, you will lead the engineering of the systems that support club operations, franchise management, and club openings. Your work directly impacts how Basic-Fit operates and scales across Europe.

Your Role

As Technical Lead Business Solutions, you are responsible for the technical design, engineering delivery, and operational reliability of systems supporting club operations, club openings, and franchise management.

You lead a multidisciplinary engineering team working across Salesforce, low-code platforms, and integration technologies. Together with the Business Solutions Lead, who defines business priorities and process direction, you translate business needs into robust, scalable solutions and a realistic delivery roadmap.

You bring an entrepreneurial mindset. You actively look for opportunities to improve club operations through better systems and automation, and you are comfortable operating in an environment where not everything is defined yet. You turn ideas into practical solutions that work at scale.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Translate business priorities into a technically sound backlog and delivery roadmap.
• Create realistic delivery plans by balancing technical complexity, team capacity, and business priorities.
• Design solutions across multiple platforms (Salesforce, low-code tools, and integrations).
• Define how systems interact and where functionality should live across the tooling landscape.
• Act as the technical authority within the Business Solutions domain and guide architecture decisions.
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable across multiple countries.
• Establish strong DevOps, release management, and operational support practices.
• Remove technical blockers and help the team work effectively.
• Work closely with the IT Development Manager to ensure the team has the right skills and capacity to deliver.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to deliver solutions that work for non-technical users.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience as a Technical Lead, Technical Product Owner, Engineering Lead, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience working with SaaS platforms (e.g. Salesforce), low-code tools, and integration technologies.
• Ability to design solutions across multiple systems and define clear guidelines on where functionality should live.
• Experience supporting physical operations or location-based businesses (e.g. retail, hospitality, logistics, fitness).
• Experience working in multi-entity or franchise environments is a strong advantage.
• Experience designing systems for non-technical operational users.
• Strong communication skills with both engineers and business stakeholders.

Languages

• English is used within the engineering team, while Dutch is a nice extra to have for collaboration with operational teams and club stakeholders.
• Knowledge of additional languages used within Basic-Fit markets French, Spanish, or German is a strong advantage.
