As a Software Engineer I in Eindhoven, you will be part of our product development team working on solving challenges related to map delivery for autonomous vehicles. These challenges include map compilation, transformation, and packaging in a safety critical context. Leveraging your software development skills with challenging algorithmic and mathematical problems, you will help ensure timely delivery of optimized map data to vehicles worldwide. With your experience, you’ll help move the team forward in developing the technology of the future of mobility.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain services for map delivery in a distributed, cloud-first environment.
- Collaborate on and contribute to software architecture, focusing on operational aspects and service efficiency.
- Review and provide feedback on team members' code according to established standards.
- Understand and contribute to service requirements and customer expectations.
- Drive improvements in service delivery capabilities and processes.
- Maintain a security-focused approach, implementing best practices consistently.
- Help achieve service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively resolve impediments.

What you'll need
- Minimal 2 years of experience in professional software development.
- Experience with Java (Spring is a plus).
- Be familiar with DevOps principles.
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure is a plus).
