About the role

As a (Senior) Consultant Operations Strategy & Industry Solutions | Public Sector, you work in a multidisciplinary Deloitte team to deliver value to our clients throughout the entire transformation lifecycle. This starts with defining an operational strategy and extends to (re)designing, optimizing, and implementing the operating model and core processes. With a strategic mindset and (digital) technologies as a starting point, you help define future-proof solutions to make our clients more efficient, customer-centric, and sustainable.

Together with your team, you develop innovative and scalable improvements for our clients to respond to rapidly evolving technologies, a quickly changing geopolitical landscape, and a tight labor market in the public sector. • A university Master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant (consulting) experience and/or demonstrable experience with operating model design, process optimization, and/or technological transformation.
• Experience with project management and/or knowledge of agile working methodologies.
• An affinity with the public sector.
• Familiarity with methodologies for process optimization and operating model design.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; you can translate complex analyses into clear insights and impactful presentations.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbal and written.

• You combine strategic thinking with practical execution power and work on transformation projects guiding clients from (operational) strategy to execution.
• You quickly develop in-depth knowledge of (public sector) core processes and organizational models.
• You translate strategic challenges into smart and future-oriented solutions.
• You work in multidisciplinary teams to thoroughly understand the complex challenges of (inter)national public organizations.
• You present insights and recommendations clearly and convincingly, and facilitate work sessions and interviews.
• You use smart, data-driven, and technology-driven solutions – such as automation and AI – to sustainably improve performance.
• You coach (junior) team members so they can perform optimally at the client and develop personally.
