About the job

Global Procurement Project Manager is accountable for delivering procurement-led productivity projects and represent procurement function in growth projects aligned with global and regional procurement strategies. Reporting to the Global Procurement Category Lead, the role is designed as a project execution position with full ownership from ideation to implementation.

The role ensures delivery against cost, risk, quality, timing, sustainability, and supply resilience objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and lead a portfolio of procurement projects including sourcing initiatives, dual-sourcing and business continuity reinforcement, supplier development and qualification, standardization, and innovation projects.
  • Translate procurement strategy (cost competitiveness, risk mitigation, sustainability, innovation) into executable, value-generating projects.
  • Act as end-to-end project owner, accountable for delivery, results, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams involving Operations, R&I, Quality, Finance, Topline.
  • Drive supplier selection, negotiation, development, and performance improvement in line with project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate supply, cost, and operational risks while strengthening supply resilience.
  • Ensure alignment with procurement governance, compliance, and ethical standards.
  • Monitor, track, and report project performance (cost savings, risk reduction, timelines, quality, sustainability impact).

About you

You have strong proven experience in project management in procurement, operations, supply chain within FMCG, industrial, or manufacturing global matrix organization showcasing strong planning and organizational skills.

In addition, you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver cross-functional projects in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong execution mindset with end-to-end accountability.
  • Structured, fact-based, and delivery-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier development, cost management, and risk mitigation.

  • Proficient in leveraging AI-powered analytics tools to enhance procurement insights and decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to navigate complex organizational landscapes.

  • Innovative and proactive in problem-solving and solution implementation.
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to see the big picture.
