This internship assignment focuses on Supplier Relationship Management within Procurement at Vanderlande.
Within Procurement, the Global Category Teams develop Category Strategies that define the future supplier base per category. The objective of this assignment is to identify and document supplier categorisation and related relationship management based on these strategies. You will create a clear category overview, including the aligned supplier base, and translate strategic decisions into a simple and easily accessible format. The goal is to record and communicate the defined supplier base in a transparent and structured way, enabling the organisation to consistently work with and steer towards the preferred suppliers.
The Global Procurement team looks after procurement within Vanderlande. A team of 16 Global Category Managers owns the defined Categories and related strategies, working together with other disciplines like Supply Chain Management, Technology and Operations / project Execution.
