This role is part of our Creative and Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Job purpose

As Team Lead and Senior Project Manager, you’ll drive the team and oversee the execution of innovative media campaigns focused on SEO, SEA, social media, and programmatic advertising. Your leadership will empower the team to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

You know exactly what our customers need, even if they don't explicitly ask for it. You are good at making schedules, monitoring budgets and you enjoy meeting or even exceeding customer expectations together with the team.

As well as leading, guiding and motivating the team, the role includes identifying project scope, clarifying deliverables, anticipating needs, understanding timelines, and managing client and internal communication. As a PM you will be responsible for project managing complex and/or larger projects and will also need to be comfortable in the weeds - specifically helping to drive day to day deliverables.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end to end media campaigns and projects (SEO, SEA, Programmatic advertisement, Social advertising), you make sure qualitative work is delivered on time
  • Be the key contact for clients, an advisor who provides resources, and who addresses problems and solutions
  • Assess working methods and processes, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Overall responsibility for a team of project managers supporting our clients in maintenance of their digital madie projects and campaigns.
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the team: Professional development of team members, training of junior & prof team members, identify potential and manage the team by setting clear objectives, managing performance and effectively coaching team members by providing clear feedback and guidance.
  • Staff planning and development of the PM team - considering the individual workload and knowledge level.
  • Independently plan, coordinate and execute/lead complex digital marketing projects and experience platforms.
  • Deep understanding of customers' business, their requirements and expectations.
  • Stakeholder communication (steering committees, management meetings, internal reconciliations, reporting)
  • Conducting initial meetings with potential new customers, including project-specific proposal preparation and project controlling.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in leading a team or individuals
  • Willingness to take responsibility as a team lead, actively accompany your team and projects and support as an escalation level in clients projects
  • Solid experience in project management in digital marketing projects with excellent channel knowledge (SEO / Paid Social / Programmatic / Search / Affiliate etc)
  • Someone who is strong in the development / optimisation of project and maintenance processes (agile and waterfall)
  • Experience and/or affinity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Jira
  • Dutch language is a bonus
