Voor de rol IT Data Engineer Workforce Management Systems zoekt de Customer Interaction and Conversational grid een enthousiaste en vindingrijke IT Engineer om de Workforce Management (WFM) capabilities te versterken. In deze rol ontwerp, bouw, onderhoud en ondersteun je WFM-platformen en operationele planningsprocessen. Je werkt nauw samen met Operations-, IT- en Analytics-teams om accurate, betrouwbare en schaalbare workforce-datastromen te realiseren voor forecasting, scheduling en performance insights. Deze positie is ideaal voor iemand die technische engineering skills wil combineren met domeinkennis in workforce planning en optimalisatie. Ervaring met de NICE Workforce Management tool is een sterke pré.

Your job

In ons team hebben we een PO en een groep van 5 teamleden met diverse talenten en culturen. We werken toe naar high-performing, self-organised DevOps teams waarin teamleden verantwoordelijkheid nemen en willen leren. Binnen het team werken we samen, deelt ieder zijn/haar expertise en heeft ook een eigen specialisme. Naast het creëren van nieuwe inzichten horen het onderhouden en oplossen van issues in bestaande systemen en dashboards ook bij de verantwoordelijkheid van de DevOps teams; de juiste mindset is key.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate with WFM teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Manage and enhance system-to-system integrations (telephony/ACD, CRM, planning tools).
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and availability for forecasting, scheduling, and operational reporting.
• Monitor and improve data quality, including validation, transformation logic, and exception handling.
• Support the implementation, configuration, and technical maintenance of WFM software.
• Help develop dashboards, metrics, and insights to improve workforce planning efficiency.
• Contribute to automation of workflows and operational processes.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Understanding of workforce planning, scheduling, forecasting, and(or) contact center operations.
• Experience with WFM platforms; experience with NICE Workforce Management is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of integrating systems such as telephony/ACD platforms, and planning tools.
• Experience with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
• Analytical mindset, with strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, structured, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
