Product

As a Product Developer, you will independently manage the development of one or more product categories, ensuring the highest standards of quality, fit, and performance. While reporting directly to the Head of Product Development, you will oversee the product development process from the initial design brief through final sample delivery, working closely with Design, Production, and supplier partners. This role involves leading fitting sessions, managing technical execution, and ensuring all products meet Suitsupply’s brand and commercial expectations. You will also maintain accurate product information within the PLM system each season. Your work will directly contribute to delivering innovative, competitive products that support the brand’s growth and customer satisfaction.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from initial design brief to final sample delivery across one or more product categories.
  • Demonstrate strong product development experience within trousers, including categories such as chinos, denim, and formal tailored trousers.
  • Lead fitting sessions and wear tests, ensuring product quality, fit, and performance align with Suitsupply’s brand standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production team to ensure golden samples are executed flawlessly and meet all technical specifications.
  • Maintain strong awareness of market and competitor trends to ensure products remain innovative and commercially competitive.
  • Manage the critical path and development timelines, proactively resolving challenges to ensure timely execution.
  • Input, update, and manage all product information in the PLM system, ensuring accuracy and consistency each season.

Who you are:

  • 3–5 years of experience in product development, preferably within fashion, menswear, or tailoring.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication, materials, and garment construction across one or more product categories.
  • Strong experience with menswear trouser departments including chino, denim, and formal trousers.
  • Proven ability to develop technical packs and oversee sample development with both local and international suppliers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide quick and effective solutions in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in PLM systems; experience with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
  • Flexible and open to frequent travel for sourcing, development, and production follow-up.
  • Highly organized and structured, able to manage tasks effectively and deliver results on time.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Adaptable and resilient, comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

What you will get:

  • Autonomy: We empower you to take ownership, make meaningful decisions, and drive impact without layers of sign-off.
  • Growth: We see your potential as a key asset. At Suitsupply, you’ll have abundant opportunities to learn, grow, and excel in a supportive environment that encourages development at every step.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility: Our commitment to sustainability and ethical business is unwavering. We work exclusively with suppliers who uphold the highest standards, in alignment with the International Labour Organization.
  • Style: Immerse yourself in a world of beautifully crafted, high-quality products, and enjoy a 40% discount on Suitsupply products.

Founded in Europe in 2000, Suitsupply has grown to over 90 international stores in cities such as Milan, London, Zurich, Amsterdam, New York, Toronto, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition to our ever-expanding number of brick-and-mortar locations, we maintain a strong online presence, allowing Suitsupply to bring our style and top-tier service to all corners of the globe.

In an industry where fast fashion dominates and craftsmanship is fast disappearing, Suitsupply introduces a better option: one where no attention to detail or quality is ever spared. That’s why we use only the finest Italian fabrics sourced from mills such as Ferla, E. Thomas, Larusmiani and Vitale Barberis Canonico.

We have received widespread accolade from the likes of GQ, Esquire, and, perhaps most notably, a Wall Street Journal blind test that rated a $600 Suitsupply suit in a first-place tie with a $3,600 Armani.

While high-quality suiting at an affordable price point remain at the core of all that we do, our versatile range includes jackets, trousers, outerwear, shoes, accessories and attire available as prêt à porter and made-to-measure.

At Suitsupply, we pride ourselves in taking innovative approaches to traditional problems. This has led to the development of technologies such as our Design Your Own feature, our Garmentor app, and a commitment to in-house tailoring, providing quick alterations while you wait for a perfect fit every time. Each and every sales associate receives in-depth training through our acclaimed Suit School, bringing the unmatched level of passion and expertise that make Suitsupply’s customer service stand out.

The message is clear. We believe that nobody should leave Suitsupply with anything less than a perfect fit. If you’re equally devoted to quality, check out our jobs page for opportunities to join us.
