In this role as an IT Consultant / Senior IT Consultant at BCG Platinion, you will lead digital transformation work focused on blockchain and emerging technologies, partnering closely with clients (particularly in financial services) and BCG project teams.

What You'll Do

As a Consultant, you will take end-to-end responsibility within a BCG project while developing specialized expertise to solve client problems. You will create blockchain strategies, identify use cases, validate solutions from business and technical perspectives, define roadmaps and business models, conduct client interviews and workshops, and perform market research, evaluation of blockchain solutions, and assessment of tools.

Responsibilities include:

• Working jointly with BCG and high-impact client project teams, bringing digital and technology expertise to the team and to the client on site
• Working independently at a module level on select topics
• Keeping up to date and developing expertise in Blockchain / Crypto / DeFi / Metaverse or related topics
• Supporting case teams that require deep expertise and a hands-on approach in Blockchain / Crypto / DeFi / Metaverse or related topics
• Contributing to the quality of the work, challenging results with sanity checks together with the project team
• Proactively educating and informing clients about state-of-the-art technologies, methodologies, and tools around Blockchain / Crypto / DeFi / Metaverse (or related topics) and how they can bring value to the business, particularly for financial institutions

What You'll Bring

BCG Platinion is looking for exceptional talent in emerging technologies. You would typically have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Blockchain / Crypto / DeFi / Metaverse
• Demonstrated ability to apply sound knowledge in innovative technologies; coding expertise is a plus
• Experience managing multiple client and stakeholder relationships and networking within client organizations to understand needs and help influence the client agenda
• Strong interpersonal skills to partner with executive management teams as they implement a new vision, and a passion for enabling leaders to drive change
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel frequently
• An exceptionally strong academic background, ideally from a leading university
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, along with strong presence, team spirit, and leadership skills
• Previous experience with financial institutions (valued)
